Please welcome Rocco to Pixie Mamas! He is a 4 year old Lhasa/peke mix. He is very new to rescue but what we know is he was an owner surrender as family was moving into an apartment and could not take him.
 
Rocco lived with small kids and was said to be good with them. He is being fostered with both dogs and cats and he gets along fine. Family said he is housebroken and crate trained and so far has done well in his foster home. He is super cute and is a total lap dog just showering you with kisses anytime he can. Rocco walks well on a leash and is very happy to go for a ride. In the car he cried initially and jumped around but settled fairly quick. Family stated he growled at strangers and he has also exhibited that behavior in his foster home but he is easily corrected. Please know that he will require regular grooming probably every 6-8 weeks and frequent brushing in between. If you think Rocco is the perfect fit for your family please apply today as he won't be around long.
 
Rocco is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested neg, flea/worm treated.  His adoption fee is $275 - please apply on our website!

  • We DO NOT adopt out of state (including Canada) OR over 1 1/2 hours away from Buffalo, NY. NO exceptions. Please do not apply. (Any travel IN our adoption area is at the discretion of the foster home.)
