Zoebelle's Sponsorship Page
Zoebelle is an adorable little yorkie! She was rescued from the puppy mills of Ohio, where she was destined to spend the majority of her life having puppies. Zoebelle was taken to the vet by the miller to be euthanized because she was in such distress. After an emergency surgery to remove a bladder stone and repair rectal prolapse, she was on her way to a new life! Zoebelle is still very much a puppy! She is learning everything new - she needs to learn to be a pet now! Her foster mom is working with her on things like house training, leash skills and basic commands. Her forever home will have to continue this because she is just a blank slate! She will need a home that will give her patience and time to adjust. Zoebelle is good with other little dogs. Zoe has started to play with the other dogs in the house. She lives with cats and will excitedly bark at them but nothing more then that. She likes to be outside but will play catch me if you can when she knows she is going in! She just learned how to do stairs, going up is easy and going downstairs is coming a long quite well! She is good in the car. She is crate trained. Zoebelle is fine with kids as long as they are gentle with her and go slow. She is learning everything now! Zoebelle is still working on house training - she likes to go outside but will have accidents still. Zoe does not like the leash yet - she is quite stubborn! We are going to require a fenced yard for her because of this and it will also help her in house training! She is a sweet little girl that has a whole new life ahead of her. We are excited to help her get there. Along with her other surgeries, Zoebelle has been spayed, brought up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested neg, flea/worm treated. Her vet bills were over $700 so we are asking $400 to help cover the costs. Please apply on our website if you are interested in adopting our sweet little girl!
