This beautiful boy is Don Juan - he is a shih tzu, 11 pounds and we think between 4 - 5 years old.  Don Juan was found as a stray and never claimed at the city shelter. 

Don Juan is a wonderful dog - he was someone's pet before for sure.  He is leash trained and crate trained and he appears to be housetrained - please expect accidents as he adjusts to his new life though!  He is fine with other dogs but would be just as fine as an only child.  Don Juan is mellow and calm.  He would like someone to hang out with all day on the couch!  DJ is ok with kids but would do better in a quieter home.  He loves to be outside and is always eager to go.  He does very well in the car too!  DJ is a gentle little soul with such sad eyes...whatever his past was, we will never know but we do know his future is already brighter.

Don Juan is now neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested neg, flea/worm treated.  He also had a hernia repaired and dental with a very painful tooth extracted!  Don Juan has also been groomed!  His adoption fee is $275 to help cover some of his expenses.  Please apply online if you are interested in making this handsome boy part of your family!
