6/3 update - Rebel & Baby's adoption fee has been waived due to sponsorship!  There will be no adoption fee to an approved home!


Rebel and Baby are  ~9 (ish) year old  poodles that were dumped at southern shelter  after their owner passed away.  Down south, Owner surrenders only get 24 hours at the shelter before they are euthanized.  Well Rebel and Baby had an angel looking out for them that day and were taken out of there and into foster care until they could make their way to Buffalo!

Rebel and Baby have been together their entire lives.  They are bonded to each other and we want to keep them together. Because of this we are lowering the adoption fee to $150 for both dogs to help cover their vet costs.

Rebel is a cute little man!  He is white and around 10 pounds.   He is crate and leash trained.  We think his previous owner was house bound so he prefers to use pee pads but does go bathroom outside when he is out there!!  He cannot do stairs - we are working with him but it may be awhile before he learns.  He can do a couple of stairs not a flight, but we think he can learn.  Baby did!  He is stubborn!  Rebel can be bossy with other dogs  but really likes and needs another little dog to be his friend.  He is smart and sweet too!  He is fine with cats.  Rebel will be fine with kids as long as they are considerate to his small size. He likes toys and has a funny playful spirit.  He is so happy outside and will stay out there all day with me when I garden!  Rebel loves a good belly rub and is happy to be sit on your lap and be pet all day.

Baby is a super sweet, friendly girl!  She is grey and weighs about 13 pounds.  She LOVES toys and can play play play!  Baby is leash, crate and house trained (please expect accidents while she learns a routine.)  She is also paper trained like Rebel.  She is good with other dogs, but can be bossy too.  Baby is fine with cats and good with kids too!  She is eager to be outside and you never have to ask her twice to go!  She loves to be in the yard!  Baby loves attention and can be pet all day if you have the time.

Both of these dogs are wonderful.  They are healthy and happy and have more years to give a new person, couple or family.  Please do not let their age dissuade you - they are active and do not act their 'age'.  If you ever thought of adopting an older pet, these two would be great companions.

Rebel and Baby are neutered/spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, heartworm neg and has been given a dental.  Their adoption fee is $75 but we will waive it if he is adopted with Baby for the total of $100 for both dogs!  They have alot of love left to give to a new person!!
