Max is a long hair mini dachshund, about 9 years old - still young and in great shape!  He was surrendered to Pixie Mamas by his owner due to lack of time.  He is a very nice boy and handsome too!

Max is leash trained and house trained (please expect accidents though with any new dog until a routine is established!).  He does fine with other dogs and has no issues with cats - no more then any other doxie!  Max is still playful and enjoys walks!  He would be happy with another dog in the house but could easily be the only child too!  He is also content to sit by his owner and watch the world go by too.  Max would be better with older kids (9+) or should be monitored when little ones are around - he doesn't like to be manhandled.  Max is pretty much a plug in dog - he will make a great addition to any home, especially a doxie lover's home!!

Max is now neutered, up to date with vaccines, heartworm tested neg, microchipped and has had a dental.  His adoption fee is $175 to help cover this.
