Sweet Basil!  Basil is a rescue from North Carolina where he and his 2 siblings and Mama were surrendered by their owner.  The shelter was full which meant death to this little family the next morning!  Our friends in NC called us and we did not hesitate - and here they are!! This little puppy is only 4 months old and weighs  just  6 pounds.  He is a great mix of dachshund/chihuahua/JRT - so cute and will remain small!  He will be a great family dog - he loves everyone especially kids!!  He is wonderfully crate trained  - he is just a baby so he will need to be trained on everything else!  He is smart and friendly and has some great breed mixes so we are sure he will be a quick study. Basil has 2 brown spots right at his tail!
