Please meet Taco - yes Taco.  Taco was surrendered to a local shelter due to his owner's financial situation.  Taco was in rough shape there - he has food allergies and it was something his owner did not address.  Taco is now on grain free food and some supplements  - he is finally starting to look and feel better after a few months of being in foster care!  Grain & protein allergies are very common in dogs.  Many dogs see a marked improvement in their condition once on a grain free, salmon or bison dog food.  It is a process but we waited it out with Taco!  Grain free food is also very reasonably priced and not hard to find. 

Taco is leash trained and house trained.  He is also crate trained but prefers not to be in it as he feels he does not need to be!  Taco likes other dogs and is fine with cats too.  He is ok with kids but probably would do better with older ones and not little ones.  Taco loves car rides and going for walks!  He is not a big fan of being groomed - he prefers the hippy look!  Taco will need regular grooming throughout his life so please take that into consideration if you are interested in making this sweet boy part of your family. 

Taco is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested neg and just received a dental!  His adoption fee is $200 - please apply online if you are interested in this guy!
