9/2 - We have learned alot about Mollie over the last month. She is smart and sweet, loves to go for walks and outings at the dog park.  Mollie is a typical chihuahua and will follow her person around faithfully when not in a familiar environment.  She likes to give kisses when you pet her!  Mollie is house trained and loves to be outside.  Mollie is 7 years old, 6.5 pounds and completely vetted including a dental (spayed, utd w/ shots, chipped, HW neg).  She would make an ideal companion for a single person or couple that would like a little dog to love!  She likes other little dogs and is fine with cats too.  Mollie, like most chihuahuas, is not a fan of young energetic children.  She is not nasty to them, she just is nervous they are going to hurt her.  She is good when they visit but is happier when they go home! 

7/23 - Mollie is really coming out of her shell.  She is friendly and sweet, tail always wagging when you talk to her.  She is starting to play with the other dogs here which is really cute.  She wants to sit on your lap and be held.  She got a bath and now she is feeling like a brand new lady.  Mollie is wonderful in her crate, she likes to nap there and sleeps there at night.  We are going to test her on a leash soon and will update her profile soon!

Miss Mollie Sue!  This little lady was at a local shelter and was having a hard time on the adoption floor.  I don't know many chihuahuas or other small breed dogs that wouldn't though!  It was very scary and nerve wracking for her so the shelter staff called the Pixie Mamas hotline to see if we could help this little dog.  Of Course - we were not going to let her down! 
Mollie is doing well in her foster home.  She likes people and is friendly to everyone she meets so far.  We always give new dogs plenty of time and space to adjust and do not try to force too much on them right off the bat but she really wanted to be held and cuddled.  Every time you look at her or call her name (she loves hearing it in a song!) she wags her little tail!   She is not thrilled with the other dogs in the house checking her out but once they get past it, everyone is fine.  If Mollie is placed in a home with other dogs, they must be small dogs.  Mollie does well on a leash and she does seem to be housetrained for the most part.  But like most little dogs, especially chihuahuas, another option should be given if you are gone for extended amounts of time (pads, papers, etc.)  Mollie would love an older person to be her new family - she is content to cuddle all day if you are!  Kids are probably not going to make her too happy so if you have young ones, she would not be a good match.  She has shown no interest in the cats either!  You could not ask for a sweeter girl.  Although she is 7 years old, Mollie has many more years ahead of her.  She is a beautiful mix of tan, brown, black and white and her coat is a little long and thick.  Mollie is spayed, up to date with vaccinations, wormed and microchipped.  She also had a dental not too long ago so she is raring to go!  Please consider Mollie if you are looking for a mature, loving little dog.  Her adoption fee is $150.
