Wren's Sponsorship Page
6/28 - Wren is adjusting well to her new foster home. She is learning about crates and is not liking them too much! She eats in one right now because she tends to get a little bossy with the other dogs if she doesn't. Wren loves to play with the other little dogs in the house too - she would love another little friend in her new home. Wren is going to need a fenced yard in her new home. She is just not good enough on a leash for her to housetrain and leashtrain at the same time. No electric fences and the yard must be fully fenced and very secure. If a bunny can get in, Wren can get out. No other dogs bigger then 12 pounds in the house either - this little one is fiesty (she is still a terrier remember even if she is small!) and she will stand her ground with other dogs. No kids under the age of 12 and if you don't have kids now but plan to someday, please consider another breed of dog for a pet. Toy breeds and kids do not go well together!
Wren is a bitty girl that has had a whole lot happen to her in her few short months of life. She was surrendered by a family member because someone was not very nice to her - she was only 8 weeks old and 2 1/2 pounds at the time! But she is safe now and on her way to a happy life! We think Wren is a TFT, she may have some chihuahua in her but we are not sure. She has a nubby docked tail and it very funny when you see her wag it. Wren is good in a crate and we will be testing her leash skills soon. She will not be placed in a home with kids under the age of 12 or large dogs. She is too small and underfoot all the time because she just wants to be held or on your lap! This little girl is small but she has a big personality! She is starting to play with the other dogs here and starting to hold her own during games of tug o war! Wren is dewormed, spayed, microchipped, has had 1 dhpp shot (needs 2 more) and rabies vaccination. Her adoption fee is $300.
