Little Miss Mimi is a senior chihuahua who is about 12 years old and weighs around 9 pounds. She was previously adopted from Pixie Mamas, but her owner's health unexpectedly deteriorated, and she could no longer care for her beloved pets. Therefore, she entrusted Mimi's care to Pixie Mamas, who promised to find the best possible home for her.

Mimi is a lovely lap dog who becomes very affectionate once she gets to know you. Despite her age, she is very active and energetic. She has no trouble with stairs and can easily jump up on furniture. Mimi enjoys spending time with her people and loves cuddles and belly rubs. We recommend children aged 12 or older, if there are any in the house. She has lived with cats before and didn't seem to mind them. Mimi can be a bit of a barker, but she makes a great watchdog, letting you know if there are any strangers around. 

Mimi is already leash trained and crate trained. She appears to be housebroken and can use both the yard and potty pads. However, please be patient with her during the adjustment period. A fully fenced yard would be ideal for her, as she likes to run out the door and hopes the gate is left open! If you don't have a fenced yard, be extra careful when you open the door. She already knows some basic commands such as "down," "stay," "wait," and "no."

Our hearts go out to sweet Mimi. Although she may have a few gray hairs on her face,  age should never be a factor when it comes to finding a loving and devoted dog. We know that her forever family is out there, waiting to embrace her with open arms.

Mimi is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  She has also had a dental in the past.  Her adoption fee is $275
