2/10 - Beans has an adoption pending!!

Sweet Beans is still looking for his home! This little gentleman will be the best dog for a quiet home although he is still active and playful. Beans loves to go for walks and car rides. He is a perfect guest in someone's home too when he goes on visits! Beans is crate trained although he does not need to be crated. He is a quiet boy that will sleep the day away! Beans is fine with cats and other dogs although he is not a big fan of puppies. He does not like pouncing! Beans loves to be brushed and a good scratch makes you his forever. If you are looking for a mellow gent, Beans will be perfect.

12/17 - Mr. Beans went with me to visit my dad and his dog this past week.  He was a happy little man in a quiet house!  He played with toys, slept on the couch and was the happiest sitting on laps!  Beans would be a perfect companion for a senior citizen that would like a friend.  Little dogs are wonderful companions!  If you or someone you know would like a dog to take on walks, run errands with them and be a good friend - Beans is the man for you! 

Beans is yet another owner surrender.  His original owner passed away this summer and he was bounced around a bit before someone contacted rescue.  He is still a little sad because he has no idea where his momma went and why he is here but everyday he is getting more and more comfortable with his foster family!
Beans would be best in a quiet house with just adults.  He is not a big fan of kids, not that he is mean he just would rather not deal with them and their noise!  Beans is happy to sit on the couch and snooze the day away!  He likes to play with toys if the crazy doxies ever let him have them long enough and he likes a good chew on a bully stick too!  Beans is wonderful on a leash, great in the car and is OK in a crate but really prefers to be with people at night!  I consider Beans housebroke, we have not had an accident yet (but it doesn't mean it can't happen!).
Beans would love a new mom or dad to hang out with.  He is a great little guy and would be perfect for a senior citizen or older couple.  Please consider an older gent for a companion - you will fall in love with his soft coat and sweet disposition!
