"Nothing left to do but smile smile smile" when you see Jerry Garcia aka Jerry G!  Jerry is about 2 years old and no more than 8 pounds.  We think he is a toy fox terrier mix.  

Jerry is a smart boy - most terriers are!  He was quick to learn the routine of his foster home and has become a nice addition to the pack.  Jerry is not a crazy terrier - he is actually calm and sweet and hardly barks.  He does well with the dogs in his foster home but will protect his chewies if they approach.  He is easily corrected though.  Cats are fine.  Jerry has been tested briefly with young kids and did fine.  He loves to go outside and enjoys the fenced yard.   He appears to be housetrained or close to it in his foster home but we always tell people to expect accidents and adjustment time.  Jerry is walks nice on the leash and is good in the car when he goes for a ride.  Jerry G is lap dog that loves to kiss your hand as you pet him.  He sometimes favors his front right paw but is not in pain - the vet thinks it is an old injury that was never treated properly.  It does not slow him down one bit though.  Jerry has been treated for heartworm disease too and will need to remain on monthly heartworm preventative for the rest of his life (approximately $40 for the year) He is a charismatic little guy whose personality just shines through! 

Jerry G is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and treated for heartworm disease.  His adoption fee is $350.  Please apply on our website if you are interested
