Chubby boy Zim!  This chunky boy is 8 years old and 10 pounds.  He came from a shelter in Texas and is happy to be a Pixie now!

Zim is initially shy upon meeting new people.  He does need a little time to warm up.  We highly suggest some chicken or cheese to help speed the process - Zim concurs!  Zim is good with other dogs and does not seem to care about the cats in his foster home.  He has not been tested with kids here but his foster mom thinks if they are respectful, he should be fine.  Zim is crate trained and will even sleep in it during the day with the door open.  Zim is working on his housetraining in his foster home.  He will need some time and patience.  Please expect accidents.  Zim has a fully fenced yard in his foster home and enjoys being outside. He does not walk on a leash.  His foster has been working with him but he struggles alot.  His foster home would like a fully fenced yard for him at this point - no electric fences though.   He does know what he has to do out there too - just needs to continue a good routine.  Zim came to us with some skin issues and we believe he has a flea allergy.  His new family will need to keep up with meds and warm baths, which he loves!  Zim likes marrow bones and cow hooves to chew on.  He can do stairs without issue and likes car rides too!  Zim is pretty laid back and easy going once he gets comfortable - he will make someone very happy! 

Zim is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Zim has also had a dental and all of his teeth have been extracted.  Zim's adoption fee is $350
