My name is Archie (Archie BaDarChie) and I am a pretty young guy to be on this website but it happens sometimes.  I am just 2 years old and have been looking for a home for over a year now.  My first 'family' if that is what you would call them, said I was too ugly and took me to a shelter to get rid of me.  I mean seriously, who does that??  Let me tell you, if they thought I was ugly they were not looking in the mirror that often.  But anyway, they sure did a number on my self confidence and here I am labeled shy and I hear the word submissive alot.  Well not all guys have the confidence of George Clooney.  I hear he is single too though.  I'll be perfectly honest with you - I am timid and I do pee a little when I get nervous.  Not all the time though!  You need to give me some time to adjust to a new place and person and I am not bad at all.   I do have a belly band and that helps, I hate wearing it but will if it means a new forever home.  I get nervous around new people, nothing terrible but I tend to hide and then check things out slowly.  Once I know you then its OK.  Is that what an introvert is?   Oh and another thing - I need a fenced yard.  Totally fenced and the door from the house has to connect to the yard.  I do not do well on a leash at all, I am pretty scared of it.  When you aren't home, I should be gated just in case too.   I won't do well in a loud house or ones with lots of kids, they kinda freak me out.  I just would be more comfortable with one person and other dogs and cats!  There has to be someone like that looking for someone like me!  I love other little dogs so if you have one of those - that's cool.  I am playful in the yard and my favorite game is freeze tag!  I am also a 'tugger' - when you are working away on the computer or doing dishes, I like to come over and pull on your sleeves and pant legs.  I also like to give a little love nibble to your toes if you let me!  There are some people that like that you know!

I have seen alot of my friends come and go this past year and a half and I just don't understand why I can't find a home too.  I am a good boy, I just need a little more time and patience, someone who understands what its like to be the underdog I guess.    So if you think you could be 'the one' for me, let me know.  My foster mom thinks we would have to have a 'trial' period just so we know everyone is happy.  Pixie Mamas is cool like that, they won't make me stay someplace it isn't working out cuz they want everyone to be happy.  Email me at info@pixiemamasrescue.com or fill out an application and they will be in touch with you.
