Lilac's Sponsorship Page
The girl who stole the internet with those stunning eyes is finally ready for her forever home! If you all remember her story Lilac was found as a stray and dumped at a shelter in Texas. It was later realized that she was pregnant and then set for euthanasia! Can you even believe that? Her foster spotted her picture and just had to have her! The stars aligned and a transport was already on its way so Lilac was able to easily hitch a ride! Good thing she did as just one short week later her litter arrived! It was meant to be. We believe Lilac is an Australian Shepherd mix, 2 years old and about 46 pounds. Lilac has been an amazing mother! She is a very well behaved girl and absolutely LOVES people. She is a very social, very happy, very loving dog. She likes to be with people, she loves to lay on the couch and go for walks. Although Lilac likes most of the dogs in her foster home she does take a little time to warm up to new dogs as she’s fearful of them. Lilac has not been crated in her foster home as she has been allowed to be free so she can properly tend to her babies so it is unknown if she is crate trained. She is house trained with a fenced yard and doggy door but she has went to the bathroom in the basement when she wasn’t feeling well or left for long periods so please expect accidents. Lilac LOVES to be outside and she loves to play and wrestle with the dogs in her foster home. Lilacs foster mom has seen her climb things, including a 4 foot puppy pen with ease so if you have a chain link fence it would not be safe to EVER leave her outside unattended- we believe she would definitely be able to escape if she wanted to! Lilac would make a wonderful family dog and we hope she gets the most amazing family. If you think she is the perfect match for you please apply. Lilac is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $350
