Cooper

Cooper is a 1 year old Beagle mix!  He came to us from Texas looking for a new start in life! Cooper is an adorable boy with short stubby legs. Cooper came to us obviously abused and then abandoned by his owners.  Thankfully, we have wonderful fosters that gave him time, love and patience to overcome the bad and begin a new life.

Cooper is such a fun little guy! He is also very smart and very eager to learn. He doesn't want to live in the past, he says, don't feel sorry for me, just play with me and teach me! He is very loving, likes to sleep at the foot of your bed and give you cuddles in the morning. He loves to get massages and will show you his belly! He is not aggressive, food and toys can be taken away with no issues. He is working very hard on hands being reached out to him and people walking by, so he is still a little skittish but improving everyday. He comes when called, walks on a leash and is good in the car. Cooper loves to run around and play with other dogs. He is house trained, but will have the occasional accident while he learns a new households routine. With his history, you would never know how he was treated in the past unless you look at the scars on his body, he is truly that awesome. So of course he is adorable, soft fur, unique markings, stubby legs, cute ears etc., however, the most beautiful part of Cooper? His trusting eyes. They show how much he wants to believe in people. Cooper's ideal home would have another dog and a fenced yard but not required.

Cooper is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $350 - please apply online.

Cooper's adoption fee has been partially sponsored - it is now $250
