This handsome gent is Jerry! Another Texas dog!  He is a chihuahua, about 9 years old and 6 pounds.  Jerry's owner passed away and no one wanted him - if help wasn't found he would have been let out to fend for himself.  Well that was not going to happen if we has anything to say about.  You know we love our chihuahuas AND our seniors!  

Jerry is so happy to be loved and cared for finally.  He is always wagging his tail.  His long term goals in life is to find a lap to lay in!  His short term - to stay warm!  He is happy to go outside but this weather is not to chihuahua friendly.  He is doing well with his housetraining but you know the deal, expect accidents on top of the fact he is a chihuahua.  Jerry is crate trained, he isn't a big fan of the leash but improving.  Jerry is fine with other little dogs and doesn't care about cats.  Kids are fine as long as they are gentle with him.  He is a champion snuggler and will be a happy little lump under a blanket on your couch!  

Jerry is now neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, tested neg for heartworm, flea/worm treated.  He has been given a dental and had many teeth removed.  That has made a world of difference to him.  He feels great! Jerry's adoption fee is $175 to help with his vet costs.  Please give this guy a second chance.  Everyone who meets him, loves him!
