Talia

Talia is a 1 year old English Bulldog that came to our rescue a few months ago.  She came from a puppy mill hell hole  - too sick to produce litters for them.  She was in very rough shape - she just looked a mess.  One of the worst cases of demodex mange we have ever seen and a cherry eye to boot.  Pixie Mamas certainly does not shy away from a challenge or a dog that requires a committed foster to see them through!  Talia was seen through her mange and was then cleared for her spay and cherry eye repair - and is now ready for a new home!

Since Talia started healing, she just blossomed!   We were shocked to see such a beautiful brindle coat after her hair grew in and feel she is a very unique and beautiful looking bulldog. She is no longer on any medications and has now tested negative for mange.  Talia is a typical bulldog!  Full of energy and mischief.  She is stubborn, she is curious, she is very strong, dopey at times, farts and snores but yet has the absolute most loving  personality.  She loves people and loves other dogs.  She can play and wrestle for hours if she has a partner who likes the same.  She also likes to snuggle on the couch with her people once she settles down.  Talia is crate trained for short periods during the day, does well overnight and is mostly house trained with a doggy door.  She will need reinforcement in this area as I predict with the change of a new home and routine she may have accidents.  Talia walks well on a leash and is very well behaved in the car.  She does like to chew and will need a lot of bully appropriate toys to keep her busy and out of trouble.  An active home or at least another active dog and fenced yard would be preferred as she does have a lot of energy.  She absolutely loves kids but they have to be sturdy or used to being knocked down as gentle she is not.  She spent her first 11 months in a cage and she is still very much a puppy like and despite her age needs to be treated at such.  So If you think Talia would be a great addition to your home please apply!

Talia is now spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, tested neg for heartworm.  She is fully recovered from mange and has had cherry eye repair surgery.  Her adoption fee is $600 - please apply online if interested!
