This sweet little thing is Rita!  She is about 4 years old and weighs only 6 pounds.  Rita came to us with her puppies and is now ready for her own home!

Rita is sweet and affectionate.  She is initially shy with new people but will warm up when she is able to approach on her own terms.  Once she gets to know and trust you, she is very affectionate and loving!  She likes to play and run around.  Rita is good with other dogs, especially small dogs.  She has no issues with cats.  Older, calmer children will be fine - she is not aggressive but little dogs do better with older kids.  Rita uses pee pads and is very good with them.  She will go outside but you have to put her out there.  A fenced yard is a must as she is not leash trained!  Rita is crate trained but does fine outside of one if there are pads around for her to use.  Rita is small and gentle and a very nice little lady.  We are hoping she goes to a home with another Chihuahua or small dog to play with! 

Rita is now spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested neg, flea/worm treated and has been given a dental.  Her adoption fee is $250 - please apply online if you are interested in adopting Miss Mama Rita!
