This pretty lady is Rain!  She is a 4 year old, 22 pound puggle that was rescued from the Puppy Mills of Ohio!  She is finally able to live the life a dog is meant to - no more breeding for her!

Rain is so sweet!  She is gentle, friendly and affectionate.  She is doing so well socially!  She has learned to walk on a leash - she still needs a little patience but is doing great.  She is crate trained and doing well with housetraining too.  She loves to be outside so that is a great help!  Rain is good with other dogs and another one would nice in her new home but not a must if she gets lots of attention.  No issues with kids.  Cats are fine too.  She does fine in the car and enjoys watching the world go by!

Rain is now spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested neg, flea/worm treated.  Rain came to us with an injury to her tail.  She had a wound at the tip that is now healing nicely.  When we took her to the vet, we found out she has a small fracture at the base of her tail which makes her tail hang limp although she can wag the base!  Our guess is that in her former life she was grabbed by her tail and dragged when she tried to get away.  This has not dampened this girl spirit and in our eyes, makes her just that more special!  We are so glad we were able to save her from a life of breeding and certain death if we had not!  Rain's adoption fee is $275 to help with her high medical bills.  Please apply online if you are interested!
