Hello Della!  This lovely lady is a 1 year old Old English Bulldog and she is looking for love!  Della was surrendered to us by her heartbroken family and we promised them that we would find her the most perfect home. and we will!

Della is still a puppy at heart!  She is FULL of energy and loves to run & play!  A fenced yard is a must for Della - she loves to be outside but cannot be trusted without boundaries.  Della is leash trained but will pull... she is very strong and she doesn't even realize that she is!  She is also crate trained.  Della is housetrained too but please expect accidents as she may need some time to adjust.  Della is good with other dogs but they should be medium to large.  She likes to wrestle and play!  She isn't mean to small dogs but she likes to think that they can play with her and she could inadvertently hurt them.  Cats are ok  - she will chase and want to play but if the cat is ok with it, she doesn't want to kill it - just play!  She loves toys and bones to chew!  Della is smart and knows basic commands, she is eager to learn more.  Loves kids but they should be older - as we said she is strong and doesn't know it!  She is affectionate and very sweet, she wants to be loved and please her people.  She will be a great friend and companion but needs someone willing to spend time with her and help her be the best dog ever!  Della is a character and will make someone very happy!!

Della is now spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested neg, flea/worm treated.  Della has a special adoption fee of $650.  We are comparing this to other English Bulldog rescue fees and it is very very reasonable for a young, full vetted healthy female dog.  We do not ask this of fee of all our dogs but we take in so many old, sick and long term dogs that we need to help them when we get a highly adoptable dog into our rescue.    If you are interested in adopting Della, please apply online.
