Learn more about the Dachshund. Contact Wanda's Caretaker/Foster Directly: Foster Wanda is a beautiful little lady - about 9 years old and 11 pounds. Wanda was surrendered to Pixie Mamas because her owner has ALS and no longer able to care for her like she needs. Wanda is a wonderful dog! She is leash trained and house trained (please expect accidents as she adjusts). She is ok in a crate but probably could be trusted out of one. She is fine with other small dogs. Kids are ok too as long as they respect her and her age! Wanda is gentle and calm, a loving little lap dog. Her ideal home would be a calm, relaxed one where she will get lots of love and cuddles! Wanda is now spayed, up to date on vaccines, tested heartworm neg, microchipped, and has been given an extensive dental. Her adoption fee is $200 to help cover some of her medical costs. Please do not let her 'frosting' dissuade you from adopting her - she is a great little dog that will make you very happy!
