This sweet boy is Timon - as in Bishop Timon!  That is where he was found, tied to a dumpster.  It's hard to believe that things like that happen still, but they do.  But let's focus on the positive - it could have been worse for this fellow!  Timon is 4 years old and weighs 15 pounds.  He is a black & tan long hair miniature dachshund.  And he is as sweet as pie!

Timon is a nice little guy - playful and fun with other dogs!  He likes to be outside which is great for his housetraining (recently neutered so needs some adjustment time!).  Timon is crate trained and leash trained, he is a good walker!  he is also good in the car and likes to go for rides.  Timon is good with kids but they do need to be respectful of him.  We do not know how he is with cats, although he is doxie so he probably needs a little time to get used to them!  We would like a fenced yard for Timon if possible, so he can run and play outside but it is not a requirement as long as he gets plenty of exercise and walks. 

Timon is now neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm tested neg, worm/flea treated and microchipped.  His adoption fee is $275 - please apply online if you are interested in making Timon your forever friend!
