This sweet little guy is Hershel!  We think he is a Maltese/Yorkie mix and that he is about 8 or 9 years old and weighs 7 pounds.  Hershel was a stray and taken to the city shelter.  He was in rough shape, very matted and not feeling well.  They asked Pixie Mamas to help and of course we said yes - we love the older dogs!

Hershel is a sweet boy.  He is happiest sleeping in the kitchen corner - and boy can he sleep!  He gets startled when we wake him sometimes!  Hershel likes to be outside, just wandering and sniffing.  He is housetrained we believe (please expect accidents while he adjusts!).  He is also leash and crate trained.  Hershel is low energy, just a mellow little guy that wants to just relax and hang out.  He is fine with other dogs as long as they don't want him to play!  No issues with cats either.  Hershel would be a great friend for someone older with a quiet home.  He is a nice little companion.

Hershel is now neutered, up to date with vaccines, heartworm neg, microchipped and worm/flea treated.  He was also given a much needed dental and had some teeth removed. Hershy was treated for an ear infection when we got him and our vet gave him a clean bill of health otherwise!  His adoption fee is $200 to help offset his medical costs.  Please consider this little man  - he will love ya forever!!
