This pretty gal is Cara - we think she is a Toy Fox/Rat Terrier mix (or maybe Jack Russell??).  She is about 10 months old and weighs 16 pounds.  Cara was surrendered to a local shelter because her owner no longer wanted her!  So now she is a Pixie Pup and ready to find her happily ever after!

Cara is VERY loving, loyal, playful and active - all the qualities of her breed mix!  She loves to be with her foster family wherever they are and she will just hang out or try to get into the mix of things!  Cara likes other dogs and likes to play and wrestle.  She would be fine as an only dog too.  She has no issues with the cat or foster kittens in her home - she wants to play with them too.  Cara knows some basic commands (sit stay down) which she learned in her foster home - a very intelligent breed!  She is crate trained and seems to be house trained (remember to expect accidents until she knows her new routine!).  We are working with her on her leash training daily and she is coming along but she needs more training.  A fenced yard at this point would be the best for her.  Cara is a nice girl who is athletic and active - she is very young and trainable!  She will make a great family dog!

Cara is now spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm tested neg, microchipped, worm/flea treated.  Her adoption fee is $200 - please apply online!
