Rebel is one of 6 pups from a litter that came from a very high kill gassing shelter in North Carolina!   He was born in early December and currently weighs 20 pounds.  We believe he is a boxer mix so he will be  medium to large when full grown - since we do not know what he is mixed with we cannot be sure of his full grown size!  Rebel came to us with an injured eye which we had looked at by several vets and it was determined that since he was blind in that eye and it was not growing, it should be removed.  But someone needs to tell Rebel that - he doesn't act like there is anything wrong at all!  There is no ongoing medical care for the eye - he should be fine from now on.

Rebel is a typical high energy puppy - he is full of fun fun fun and energy!  He loves to play with other dogs and toys!  He is great with kids too!  A yard would be wonderful to play in and also help with housetraining.  He is working on that but does great with papers.  Rebel loves to go outside and knows what it is for - not just running!  He needs someone home often to help him and teach him everything he needs to know.  We are working on his leash and crate skills but he still needs lots of training.    All puppies need training - so please expect work to go along with all the fun!
