Rat Terrier (short coat) : : Female (spayed) : : Adult : : Small
Learn more about the Rat Terrier. Jellie & Puppers are a bonded pair of rat terriers (Puppers is a RT/Chi mix we think). Their owner surrendered them to a local shelter when things in her home went bad. The shelter staff wanted the dogs to find a home together so they contacted us to help. Jellie is 8 years olds and weighs about 10 pounds. Jellie is a sweet girl with a low key personality. She likes to be with people and likes to sit on her foster mom's lap! She is fantastic about going outside and seems to be housetrained (but please expect accidents while she adjusts). Jellie is crate trained and leash trained. She would do better with a fenced yard though. Jellie is fine with other dogs as long as they don't pick on her! She is also fine with cats. Kids are fine too as long they are respectful to her small size! Jellie loves Puppers very much (although they sometimes argue like all long term couples!!). They want to be together and are very attached. We are only going to adopt them out together - their adoption fee will be $200 for both dogs. Jellie and Puppers are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested neg, flea and worm treated. Jellie also had a dental. Please consider this cute little couple - they deserve a wonderful home together!!
