This beautiful boy is Gunner, a 3 year old mini schnauzer!  Gunner was found begging for food at downtown restaurant.  He was taken to the shelter and no one claimed him so they asked us for help with him.  He was scared and needed a little TLC, which of course he gets lots of in his foster home now!

Gunner is a very nice dog - this was somebody's pet before he was thrown away.  He is crate trained and house trained (remember to expect accidents initially!).  He needs a little work on his leash skills but with some time and patience, he should get better quickly!  Gunner is sweet and affectionate.  He likes people!  He is good with other dogs and fine with cats (he will bark occasionally at them).  He has been around kids (5 and older) with no issues.  Gunner likes to be around people and is friendly to them!  He loves other dogs too so another one in the house would be great.  Gunner will need frequent grooming throughout his life so please keep that in mind if you are interested in adopting him. 

Gunner is now neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm tested neg, worm and flea treated and microchipped.  His adoption fee is $275

  • We DO NOT adopt out of state (including Canada) OR over 1 1/2 hours away from Buffalo, NY. NO exceptions. Please do not apply. (Any travel IN our adoption area is at the discretion of the foster home.)
