This little dude is Hans!  He is a 4 year old mini dachshund who was recently surrendered to Pixie Mamas with his good friend Greta! 

Hans is a loving little guy - he really likes other little dogs (especially doxies!). He is crate and leash trained.  We think he may need a little more work with his housetraining though - although he has caught on to his new routine very quickly in his new foster home!  He loves to be outside!  Please expect some accidents, with time and patience he will be fine.  Hans is a bit of a pants grabber with men when he first meets him, but after a bit he is fine.  He is fine with older kids but should be monitored with young children as he gets excited when they are running about!

Hans is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped and tested neg for heartworm.  He is a happy and healthy little guy!  Hans adoption fee is $200.  IF he is adopted with Greta we will lower it to $150.  Please apply online if you are interested in making this little man part of your family!

  • If you would like to adopt one of our "Pixies" you must fill out an application- it is the first step in the adoption process and we cannot move forward without a completed application.   
 
  • We initially contact potential adopters via email with any additional questions or concerns. Please check your spam/junk folders.  

  •  We will call your vet's office for a reference - you must call them and give permission to release information to Pixie Mamas Rescue.

  • All animals breeds & ages are 'to our best our knowledge'

  • We DO NOT adopt out of state (including Canada) OR over 1 1/2 hours away from Buffalo, NY. NO exceptions. Please do not apply. (Any travel IN our adoption area is at the discretion of the foster home.)
