Learn more about the Chihuahua. This little lady is Nadine - she is a beautiful 7 year old chihuahua that was surrendered to a local shelter by her owner who was unable to care for her and Teddy. The shelter called Pixie Mamas because Nadine has epilepsy and it is something that they are not able to deal with. They sent her little pal Teddy along with her because they have always been together. Nadine (& Teddy) are crate trained, leash trained and housetrained. They also use papers if need be. Nadine is very affectionate and wants to be on her human's lap or wherever they are! Teddy on the other hand is more of a couch potato, he likes to sleep under blankets in his bed all day and we have to wake him up to go outside! It is so cute! He will get up for food though! Nadine's medicine is given to her twice a day and is very inexpensive - only $6.99/month! Nadine has not had any seizures since being in foster care since June. As long as she stays on her meds, she is fine. She was recently examined by our vet and given a clean bill of health and the OK to be adopted! Nadine is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped and has had a dental while in our care. She will come with one month supply of her medicine also. Nadine's adoption fee is $200. IF she is adopted with Teddy, we will reduce their fees to $300 for both dogs. We would love for them to stay together as they have been together all their lives!
