Learn more about the Chihuahua. This sweet little girl is Marisol. Marisol is a puppymill survivor that was rescued earlier this year. She is about 3 years old and weighs 9 pounds. Marisol is not leash trained and will require a fully fenced yard at her new home. She is nervous about going outside and needs to be carried out - she does not like going down stairs but can go up like lightening! She is wonderfully papertrained though! Marisol needs at one other companion dog in her new home - it should be a small breed too. She loves to cuddle and even play with other dogs! Another dog will help teach her things too and make her feel more at ease in her new home. Marisol is friendly but still shy - she was not used to humans touching her but is getting better at it every day! She loves to come up to you and kiss your finger tips! Right now she is still nervous about being picked up so you have to go slow with her. She is such a sweet little dog that lived such a hard life already. Please research puppymills and puppymill survivors if you are not familiar with them. They take a special home because they are very special little dogs. Marisol is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, heartworm tested neg and wormed. Her adoption fee is $150. Please apply online if you are interested in giving this little girl a home!
