8/2 - Junior is doing well in his foster home.  He enjoys playing with the other little dogs here and is always ready for a belly rub!  Junior is doing great with his crate training and his housetraining.  His foster mom is home a lot to let him outside.  He will need additional training in his new home and please expect accidents with any new dog - especially a puppy!
Drama Drama Drama!  Junior seems very sensitive in some situations.  He cries hysterically if he is afraid or if one of the other dogs gets too rough.  Just a lot of noise and drama it seems to get a little more attention from his people!    Someone must have been rough with him at one time.  He is sweet and loves to be with people and will roll over for his belly rub if you reach to pet him.  This sweet little dog would love a family to call his own!  Please apply if you think Junior would be a good fit in your life!

Please meet Junior!  He is new to rescue so we are just getting to know him.   This little dog is a "junior version" of Curtis I think hence his new name!  Junior is about 3 months old and weighs 8 pounds.  He should probably grow into a sturdy 16-18 pound dog, give or take.  Junior is an adorable mix of dachshund and some kind of terrier.  He is already neutered and has had all age appropriate shots.  Junior is a very playful pup - he loves his new foster family very much.  Junior is doing well in the crate too.  He is not leash trained yet or house trained, he is still just a baby remember.  He will need someone home a lot to help train him.  Another small dog for Junior to play with would be great too.  Junior would love a fenced yard...but no electric fences please.  They are dangerous for little dogs.
