Please meet Margarita!  This pretty blue chihuahua is about 4 years old and 6 1/2 pounds. Margarita came from of life where she was primarily used for breeding and not given all the love and attention a Chihuahua craves!  Well she is getting it now in her foster home and she is happier then she has ever been.  She is still a little shy but once she trusts you, she is a complete cuddler!  Margarita needs a fenced yard.  She is scared of collars and leashes - and cameras too!  She will need another option for pottying too, like papers and pee pads.  Margarita will do best being gated instead of crating - she is not a big fan!  Older, calmer kids will be fine - ones that know little dogs can be nervous.  Rita loves to run and play so another small dog would be best too.  She is fine with cats - an occasional bark or playful chase but nothing major.   

Please consider giving Margarita a home if you have ever wanted to see the progress of a rescued dog.  She is lovable and trusting but you have to earn it and when you do, you will be rewarded beyond belief with unconditional love and Chihuahua kisses!
