1/13 - This little angel was rescued from a shelter in Ohio. She came in very dirty, sick and thin. She was kept either outside or not in a very clean home. You could not even tell she was white when we got her! Lilly needed a lot of time to heal and recover. She was so thin from a major case of worms and had a skin infection from being so dirty. It seemed like all she did was sleep for the first couple of weeks of being in her foster home. Lilly is well on her way to being a healthy, happy dog! Her skin has healed and she has gained weight and looks so much better! And she definitely feels better too. Lilly is very sweet and loving. She is loves to be touched and pet, and she will sit with you all day long if she could. Lilly is crate trained at night. She does really well with going outside, she seems to be housetrained here. (You should always expect some accidents though with any dog in a new situation) Lilly is not a big fan of being groomed though, she was not taken care in her old life so she needs to get used to it. Thankfully Bow Wow & Meow are patient and did not mind taking some extra time with her. Lilly is not a hyper dog, she is a total lap dog! I have caught her playing with the puppies once or twice though. Lilly HATES having her picture taken - she is terrified of the camera for some reason. She sees it and runs as fast as she can to get away. It is very strange since she is such a super model! Lilly's adoption fee is $300 to help pay for hers and other dogs additional vetting that is necessary.
Lilly will not be ready for adoption until the end of January. She is in need of a dental and we are hoping to get that done soon. Please consider donating to Lilly's dental so we can get this little lady in her forever home!
