Meet Tessa, the sweet Boston Terrier who's looking for her forever home. She's around 2-3 years old and weighs 28 pounds. Tessa was rescued from a life of breeding, and we're so excited to help her find a new loving home and start a new chapter in her life!

Tessa has made incredible progress since coming to PMR. When she first arrived, she was really scared of people, but she's come a long way since then. She's still a bit shy, but with some extra time and patience, she'll continue to improve and really come out of her shell. Tessa is a sweetheart and is not at all aggressive, just a little timid. She absolutely adores playing with other dogs, especially puppies, and has a blast with them in the yard. We think she'll settle into her new home more quickly if there's another playful dog to help her build her confidence. Tessa loves the great outdoors and is doing really well with her house training. Right now, she's not a fan of walking on a leash, so a fully fenced yard (no invisible fences) would be perfect for her. She's also crate trained. Tessa is a big fan of toys and especially loves chewies; she can spend hours happily chewing on one! While Tessa hasn't had much exposure to kids in her foster home, she's done just fine at events where there were children. Let's help Tessa find her perfect forever home!

Tessa is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $475
