Learn more about the Chihuahua.

Tiny Dory is in search of a new home and family! She is around 3 years old and weighs only 5 pounds. Dory is a local dog who came from a home with too many dogs, and the owner needed some help.

Dory is not just little; she's absolutely adorable! She is incredibly sweet and loving with her foster mom. Dory has always lived with other dogs, and we feel that she would benefit from having at least one in her new home to help her adjust. She's also very playful, and it's an absolute joy to watch her interact with other dogs. Dory is perfectly fine with cats. Older kids would be a great fit as long as they are respectful of her small size. Dory has lived with many dogs and was never taken outside, so housetraining is still a work in progress. She's not pad trained yet, so she needs to be monitored and taken outside regularly. A fully fenced yard would be ideal for Dory.  We believe that with more time and training, she will improve with her training, but her new owner must be patient and understanding. Dory is not leash trained, but she's working on getting used to it as well!

Dory has had a bit of a rough start in life, but we've been working hard to help her become more comfortable around people and to improve her behavior. Although she's still in need of some more training, her sweet kisses and loving nature will definitely win you over. It's so much easier to forgive her past when you see how wonderful she is!

Dory is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $450
