Handsome little Hunter is available for adoption! He is a shih tzu/poodle mix and is only 8 months old. This little cutie weighs about 11 pounds.

Hunter is a happy little guy - his favorite thing in the world is to sit and chew on his chewies! He loves them and they keep him busy and happy. He is not destructive with anything else though. Hunter is doing great in his foster home. He is crate trained and will even go in there to take a nap all on his own. He still needs work on his leash skills though. Hunter is doing great with his housetraining too - he does have a fully fenced yard in his foster home so that helps. Please expect some accidents as he adjusts to a new home and routine - and remember he is just a puppy! He gets along with other dogs and doesn't seem to mind the cats in his foster home. Hunter is a great pup and will make a wonderful companion or family dog!

Hunter has also been professionally groomed and will require regular grooming throughout his life.

Hunter is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm. His adoption fee is $500

If you would like to adopt one of our "Pixies" you must fill out an application- it is the first step in the adoption process and we cannot move forward without a completed application.

We initially contact potential adopters via email with any additional questions or concerns. Please check your spam/junk folders.

We will call your vet's office for a reference - you must call them and give permission to release information to Pixie Mamas Rescue.

All animals breeds & ages are 'to our best our knowledge'

We DO NOT adopt out of state (including Canada) OR over 1 1/2 hours away from Buffalo, NY. NO exceptions. Please do not apply. (Any travel IN our adoption area is at the discretion of the foster home.)
