Meet Lucky! He is a 3-year-old Chihuahua/Yorkie mix and weighs only 6 pounds.  Lucky is a local dog who needed some help when his owner moved  - we know we will find the forever home he is dreaming of!

This small boy is a real treasure! Although it takes him a few days to adjust to new people and situations, once he does, he becomes very affectionate. He can be a little shy and standoffish, but that's it. Lucky is friendly with other dogs and would appreciate having another one in his home, but it's not a requirement. He's a tiny lapdog who enjoys watching TV and cuddling. He has been around older children and did well, but we think he would be best suited for kids over the age of 12 due to his small size. 

Lucky is well-trained in his crate, and he often puts himself to bed. He also likes to sleep on his foster mother's pillow near her head! He walks well on a leash, so there is no need for a fenced yard. Lucky is still working on his housetraining and will need some more time and patience in this area. Now that he is neutered, he should pick up a good routine in no time! This little guy just needs a loving home where he can get all the attention he craves.

Lucky is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $450
