Learn more about the Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier. Learn more about the Bichon Frise. Amanda is ready for her new home! Amanda is part of a Wheaton/Bichon litter that came to Pixie Mamas. She is 11 months old and weighs approximately 20 pounds. Meet Amanda! She's a sweet girl who can be a bit shy at first, but don't let that fool you! Once you sit down with her on the floor, she's all about the love and pets! To help her build confidence, it would be great if she could have another dog friend in her new home. Amanda loves being outside just like her siblings, but a fully fenced yard would be perfect for her. And let me tell you, she's got a big bark and isn't afraid to use it when she wants something! She's super friendly with other dogs and even the cats in her foster home. We think that older, calmer kids would be the best match for Amanda. Amanda is doing really well with her crate training, and we're confident that with some more practice she'll soon master her leash skills and house training too. She's a smart pup, and we're sure she'll pick it up in no time with consistent training. Just a heads up, Andrea will need regular grooming every few months, but we think that's a small price to pay for all the love and joy she'll bring to your life! Amanda is current on age-appropriate vaccines, dewormed tested neg for heartworm and microchipped. We require a spay/neuter contract to be signed at the time of adoption (the cost of her spay is included in the adoption fee and fully explained in the contract). She is scheduled to be spayed at Operation Pets on January 31 and it will be the adopter's responsibility to take her to the appointment. Her adoption fee is $475
