11/30 update - oh Eugene.  How do we explain your quirky little self? 
Eugene was picked up as a stray and after no one claimed him, came to our rescue.  He was very dirty and matted and when we first saw him, I thought oh my.  But once he was groomed (Bow Wow & Meow!!), I saw all the cuteness in the world!  Eugene is a good little guy - he is only interested in one dog in the house and that has been the only issue.  Eugene has found himself head over heels in love with my little Papillion, Jeremy!  Jeremy is not returning the feelings as it sometimes happens in our world and the dog world.  But Eugene is devoted and will not leave his side, hoping to convince my little French man of his love so he is protective of Jeremy and is making sure all the other dudes stay away even though they are not interested in JerJer.  I think Eugene should probably be in a house with only female dogs or at least no fuzzy French boys! 
Eugene is crated at night and he cries a bit, I think because he misses you know who.  He seems to be doing well with his potty manners here and does not mind the cats.  He has not been tested on a leash yet but will be soon.  If you are interested in this Squiggly little guy, please fill out an application so we can begin the adoption process!  Jeremy will thank you personally!!



Eugene is quite the odd looking fellow - but what a cutie!  And a personality to match.   We think he is a pug/brussels mix - just our best guess!  But this quirky looking guy will make someone very happy!  He has already been groomed and looks better and must feel better too after being lost for so long.   Eugene is new to rescue so we are going to need some time to get to know him before is ready to go to a new home.  So check back for updated pictures and information!
