Our fabulous, fun-loving Foxy is ready for adoption. Foxy is a local 2 year old papillon mix that found herself in rescue after her previous owner sadly passed away. She loves her people very much and is never far from her foster family. Her new family better be prepared to supply plenty of belly rubs. That is Foxy’s goal in life, get all the belly rubs she can. As her foster mom stands in the kitchen cooking dinner, Foxy is often found belly up waiting for her rubs. Foxy may also be waiting for a few morsels to fall to the floor; she is a little bit of a chunker and could stand to lose a few pounds.

Foxy is basically a perfect little girl and could fit into almost any home. Foxy loves her family and is full of kisses. Whenever anyone comes over, there’s Foxy, showering them with kisses. She has not been around toddlers, so a home with kids over 8 would probably be best for her. We have been told that Foxy lived with cats before, but she did tend to carry the cat around by her head. So probably not cats in her forever home. Foxy loves to go for walks and will in fact demand one. She will run to the door, then run to you, then back to the door, then back to you. This will happen until you finally give in and take her. Foxy loves to explore the world outside with you and is excellent on a leash. She will even play in the rain. Foxy does get along well with other older more respectful dogs but she would like to be the queen of her castle. Foxy is housebroken and is actually more likely to potty on a leash than in a fenced in yard. Foxy is currently enjoying playing with the toys in her foster home. The squeaky toys get her so excited she will run in the yard as fast as she can. Foxy is content to be anywhere her family is. She is even excellent in the car, so she would be great as a travel companion. We really have nothing negative to say about this baby.
