Please meet Ollie McDermott! Who we affectionately call Mac!  We have had so many Ollies and Olivers lately we had to give this cutie a special name!  Mac is 1.5 years old and weighs 16 pounds.  We believe he is a Cavalier mix with Bichon or poodle.  He is absolutely adorable!

Mac came to us from Texas and he is loving the New York life (and weather!)! True to the Cavalier breed, his personality is amazing.  He is very sweet and affectionate.  He is always wagging his tail and he looks like he is smiling when he looks at his foster mom!  And he is quite photogenic!  We can't wait to see what he looks like when his coat grows in a bit more.  

Mac is a well-mannered little dog.  He is nicely crate trained and gets very excited when it's time to be let out!  He loves to be outside.  He has a fully fenced yard in his foster home and he really likes to play outside with the other little dogs.  He is very playful!  Mac walks nicely on a leash and gets excited if he knows he is going somewhere, whether it be a walk or a car ride.  He is doing well on his housetraining but please expect additional training with a new home and routine.  As we said, he does well with other dogs but does not require another one in his home as long as he gets lots of love and attention.  Kids will be fine as long as they are gentle and respectful to Mac.  He has met the cats in his foster home and although he is curious, he is not aggressive to them.  Just a wet nose and a wagging tail!  Mac will require regular grooming every couple of months so please take that into consideration as an additional expense. 

We know Mac is going to be popular and will have a lot of interest. Please be kind and understanding that there is only 1 Mac and lots of great homes that will want him.   

Mac is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $500
