Say hi to Miss Zia!  Zia is part of a family of dog found living in a shed in Texas.  They are our "Z" crew pups! Zia is about 4-5 years old and weighs 10 pounds.  

Zia is well behaved little lady.  She is affectionate and loving - she follows her foster mom everywhere!  She is all about the pets and kisses!  She is good with other dogs and will occasionally play with them - we know she was a good mama to her pups!  Thankfully those days are all behind her now.  We think Zia was somone's pet at some point. She knows the ins and outs of living in a house and is so happy to have a little bed to snuggle up in now!  She will happily snooze by her foster mom's feet as she works.  

Zia appears to be housetrained but please expect some adjustment time as she learns a new routine.   She has a fully fenced in her foster home so that helps!  Zia is not leash trained - she does not walk at all on it.  Her foster mom will continue to work with her but we think a fully fenced yard is the safest option for her (no invisible fences).  Zia is good with other dogs and has been around the cats in her foster home with no issues.  She has not been around kids since being in our rescue but we do not think she will have any issues with them as long as they gentle and respectful to her.  

Zia is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $400
