Learn more about the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Our Beautiful Georgia is ready for her new home! This beauty is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, about 6 years old and 16 pounds. She is recently retired from breeding and is finally able to enjoy life as a pet! We are excited to be part of her journey! Typical of her breed, Georgia is very lovable with her foster family! She has not met anyone she doesn't like. She is a true couch potato and is happy to lounge the day away. She will have bursts of playfulness outside but is quick to come inside and go back to her bed or couch. She is very good with other dogs and wants to lay with them to stay warm and cozy. She is doing well on her housetraining too but please expect some additional training and there will be accidents! She does have a fully fenced yard in her foster home and that has been great for her training. She has had very little experience on a leash at this point. She is crate trained but is gated when her foster is not home. She is not destructive. Georgia is not a big barker - only to alert and then it is really just following the other dogs in her foster home. No issues with the cats in her foster home either. Georgia is a dream dog! She will blend into most any home but we are hoping for a home with another dog to keep her company and help show her the ropes. She has not been around kids but we expect no issues since she is so laid back and chill. Georgia will require regular grooming throughout her life also so please keep that in mind. She did well with her baths and grooming in her foster home. Georgia is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and tested neg. for heartworm. She has also been given a dental with extractions while with our rescue. Her adoption fee is $450
