Learn more about the West Highland White Terrier Westie.

This lovely girl is Rain!  She is a 5 year old Westie that was recently surrendered to us by a breeder.  Her days of having puppies are long gone and she is very ready to start a new life as a pet!

Rain is a happy dog!  She loves people and she loves loves loves attention! She just wants to love and be loved.  The second you get close to the ground she is all over you!  She gives lots of kisses and will gently put her mouth on your hand to get your attention if you are not giving her love and attention.  Her tail is always wagging!

Rain is leash trained and crate trained.  She is working on her housetraining and will use potty pads in her foster home also.  She is very happy running around the yard, playing with toys and chasing other dogs.  She does have a fully fenced yard in her foster home and she really enjoys it.  Rain hasn't had much interaction with the cats in her foster home but she is a bit interested.  She is working on learning to go down stairs - she can go up no problem!

Westies are generally low/minimal shedding dogs but need to be groomed regularly also.

Rain is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $450
