Learn more about the French Bulldog. Learn more about the Boston Terrier. Our boy Willie is ready for his forever home! If you follow us regularly, you will remember that Willie was found as a stray by local animal control after he was hit by a car. Due to the accident, Willie was left with a broken leg. No one came forward for this handsome dude, so he was turned over to us to get the medical care he desperately needed. Since being in the rescue, Willie has undergone surgery for his leg. After rest and love, Willie has been cleared! He is now ready to move on to the next step in his life, where he will continue to be loved and pampered.
Willie is the perfect guy! He will follow you all around the house and never leave your side. His favorite thing to do is to snuggle on the couch. And even if you aren’t in the mood, it doesn’t matter, Willie will force his way into your lap. At night he gets under the covers and pushes himself up against you. Don't worry when you cook dinner; Willie is right there too. You can’t hide from the love Willie has to offer. There is no escaping his kisses. He’s a happy boy who loves everyone and feels the need to show you constantly. He has been around a variety of people ages from 10-80. Willie has done well with all of them. He doesn’t like when people play too rough. That seems to stress him out a little. But simply saying It’s Ok, Willie, and he relaxes again. Willie gets along great with the other dogs in his foster home. In fact, he loves to play chase in the backyard with his fur buddies. He has been around cats too. He’s curious at first but then tends to leave them alone. Willie is crate trained. He should be crated when you are not home. He does get into some mischief looking for you. Nothing serious, he won’t chew your couch or anything like that, but he does knock stuff around. So for his safety and the safety of knickknacks on your tables, he’s better off being crated. Willie is doing excellent on the house training too! You have to leave him outside long enough so he finishes his business but he has picked up on the routine in his foster home quite well and has been accident-free. Although Willie enjoys going for walks, a permanent fenced-in yard is required for him at the time of adoption. No electric fences. He is very strong and will run right through those. Willie also does excellent in the car. He will sit in the passenger seat and not say a word the whole ride. He’s the perfect road trip companion. Willie is just about the perfect little buddy. He does need some more help with basic obedience. Right now he knows to sit, and come. But he is a jumper, just so he can give you kisses, and will counter surf. Those are his only bad qualities. If you think you can give Willie the home he deserves when he can give and receive love, and remain safe, make sure you apply today. Willie is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm. He has also had his broken leg repaired! Willie's adoption fee is $450
