This handsome boy is Maple - a poodle mix that is 3 years old and about 16 pounds.  Maple looks like a little Goldendoodle!  He is a local dog who was surrendered to us when his family moved.  We know Maple can't wait for his new family to find him!

Maple is a very loving little dog that quickly and strongly bonds to his person or persons.  He is wherever they are and follows wherever they go.  A closed bathroom door is heartbreaking for Maple!  Maple is affectionate and loves to be loved, all he wants is your approval and love.  He started living with other dogs when he came to the rescue and does just fine with them.  He has even started to play with them!  Like most poodles, he is very smart!  He knows some basic commands like sit and paw and we know he will be quick to learn more if given the opportunity.  He just wants to make you happy!  Maple is housetrained with no accidents in his foster home to date.  He does have a fully fenced yard, which he loves and someone that is home a lot to let him outside.  Please expect some adjustment time in a new home though just in case.  Maple is leash trained and enjoys going for walks.  He is crate trained but will bark if left in there for a long time.  He will bark if left alone too long also so please be advised!  Apartments are not a good fit for Maple.  Ideally, someone that is home a lot or a family that is busy and people are in and out would be great for him.  Cats are not an issue for Maple.  And he has lived with kids!  Maple has a very tight thick poodle coat that will require consistent grooming so please keep that in mind.   Maple is a kind and gentle dog and deserving of a loving, attentive family!  If you are looking for a loyal companion or family dog, Maple is your guy!

Maple is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  He has also been professionally groomed!  His adoption fee is $450
