Roger Dodger!  This happy boy is looking for his new home and family!  Roger is a local boy that came from the City of Buffalo Animal Shelter.  He was not happy there and wanted out fast!  We were happy to oblige Roger.  Roger is about 2-3 years old and weighs about 12 pounds.  We think he is a mix of chihuahua and jrt but it is the best guess.  He is small and cute!

There are lots of good things to say about Roger!  He is friendly and happy and of course very handsome!  Roger is wherever his foster mom is - if she is working in her office, he is there snoozing in a bed or sitting behind her in her office chair.  If she is in the kitchen, yep he is right there too.  Roger loves to get attention and affection, he loves to be pet and cuddled, a lap dog in the making.  He is always ready and willing to outside but the cold, wet weather is not making it easy for him.  He may need a little more encouragement in the bad weather but he knows what he is supposed to do out there and loves to be outside when it's nice out. He is still working on his housetraining but has come a long way since being in foster care.  He still has accidents but we think it won't be long before he is fully trained in his new home.  He is corrected easily and knows he is doing wrong.  Roger has a fully fenced yard in his foster home and loves to run and play with other dogs in it!  He walks on a leash too.  Pottying 100% on a leash will take him some time to get used to though if you do not have a fully fenced yard.  He is crate trained too.  Roger is good with other dogs and likes to play.   We have not had him around kids younger than 12 yet but we think he will be ok.  He is food motivated and quick to learn.  He loves to be praised so basic commands should be conquered with no problem.  We think he is genius material in the making!  

Roger Dodger is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $400
