Lady is now available for adoption! This fluffy little girl came to us when her owner passed away and now is looking for a lap of her very own. She is a very kind and gentle dog and has lots of kisses for everyone.  Lady is about 8-9 years old and weighs 16 pounds.  

Lady's favorite past times include sitting on her foster parents' laps, chewing on cow hooves, and taking walks even in the cold weather. She enjoys an adventure but is happy to lay on a bed or couch while you work. She enjoys playing with the resident dog from time to time but is mostly low-key.  She walks nicely on a leash. She has a fenced-in yard at her foster home and it would be preferable for her new home to have one as she likes to run around the yard and look for bunnies.  She is potty-trained and will go in her foster home’s fenced-in yard, but do expect some accidents at first. She is very smart and quickly picked up her foster family’s routine. She follows her foster parents all around and prefers to be with her people.  She doesn’t need to be the center of your attention but wants to be in the mix. She would make a great companion dog. She can be left out alone, she doesn’t chew things up. She has been living in her foster home with another dog and is doing well. She is living with children and is very sweet with them.  She has not been tested with cats. She knows her name and comes when called and will sit for her food and treats.
