This happy little guy is Luther!  Luther and his very big family was found abandoned in a trailer and needed help asap.  Our rescue partners in Texas scooped them up and got them to safety.  We believe they are a fun mix of chihuahua and dachshund!  Luther is about 1 year old and weighs 7 pounds.  

Luther is a playful, happy and loving all wrapped up into one cute dog!  He is always happy and always wagging his tail!  He loves to play and wrestle with other little dogs and loves to be chased by them too.  He enjoys being outside and always goes out when called. He is working on his housetraining but he will need more time to work on it in his forever home. He is not leash trained at this point.  He does have a fully fenced yard in his foster and also uses potty pads.  He is good in a crate and also can be gated in a room when left alone.  He is a cuddler with other dogs and has learned to burrow in the blankets to keep warm on these brisk mornings!  Luther loves to run up to greet his foster mom and just wants to be picked up and held.  He is a smart little boy and will pick up his new family's routine in no time.  

Luther is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $400
